Proliferation Monitoring by Flow Cytometry
The third module in Lesson 2 of the course series.
Lesson 2: Monitoring Cell Cycle Progression
Module C: Practical Considerations & Troubleshooting
This is the third of four modules in Lesson 2 of the Proliferation Course, which focuses on cell cycle analysis by flow cytometry. Module 2C: “Practical Considerations and Troubleshooting" examines how choices made during sample preparation, reagent selection, instrument set-up, and data collection impact the reliability and quality of the resulting DNA histograms. Topics covered include instrument linearity, fixation effects, doublet discrimination techniques, and special considerations for DNA cell cycle analysis using vital DNA dyes and thymidine analogs.
Lesson 2B: DNA Cell Cycle Data Analysis Strategies is currently available here.
Lesson 2A: Principles and Methods is currently available here.
Lesson 1: Basics of the Cell Cycle is currently available here.

CYTO University is an online educational resource created by ISAC for its members and the wider cytometry community. In addition to free webinars, CYTO U presents recorded courses and tutorials from the CYTO Conference, as well as interactive online courses on a variety of cytometry topics. These are available at no cost to ISAC members and for a nominal charge for non-members. Webinars are free for all.
To view the course, select "Topics & Pricing Information" and then select "Add to Basket."
If you are not logged in to the CYTO U website, you will be directed to a new page asking for your login information.
For current ISAC members, your user name and password to CYTO U are the same user name and password you have for the members-only section of the ISAC Web site. If you cannot remember your password, you can reset it on the ISAC Web site by clicking on the "Forgot Password?" link on the login page.
